Welcome offer & offer codes
An offer code from one of our flyers, posters or partners — or a public one from our blog — waives the platform fee on your first paid orders. This article is the orientation view; the public terms are the promise itself.
What the offer waives
With a valid code, your first 50 paid orders carry no platform fee — across every event, whichever one each order is for — for 90 days from the day the code is applied. Whichever of the two runs out first ends the offer.
- The platform fee is our per-ticket fee, the one on the pricing page. Card processing is Stripe's fee on every card payment and still applies.
- If you pass the platform fee on to buyers as a service fee, your buyers see no service fee while the offer is running.
- Cash door sales and bank-transfer orders never carry a platform fee, so they are neither charged nor counted against the offer. Free registrations are not counted either.
- A verified charity gets the offer in full while it runs and its charity rate afterwards — see Charity programme.
Applying a code
The register page has an Offer code box; a link from a flyer or the website usually fills it in for you. Codes are matched whatever case they are typed in. If the code is not recognised, or its offer has ended, your account is still created and the console tells you which — nothing is lost.
Signed up without one? Open Settings → Billing and add it there, within 14 days of signing up and before your first paid order. One code per organisation: once an offer is held it cannot be swapped for another.
While it runs
Settings → Billing shows the live position: how many fee-free orders are left, how much platform fee has been waived so far, and the day the offer ends. Every card-paid order counts one off the total the moment it is confirmed.
An order started while the offer was running keeps the price it was quoted, even if the offer ends before the buyer pays — the same rule every order's fee already follows.
When it ends
From the next order, your plan's standard fee applies — or the charity rate, if you are a verified charity. The billing card keeps showing what the offer saved you. A code may carry a closing date — the last day it can be used at signup, stated wherever we publish it — and we may retire a code for new signups at any time. Neither affects an offer already applied to your organisation: its terms were fixed the moment it was applied.
