Reserved seating

Sell the seat, not just the ticket.

Design a seat map for your venue once, price seats by category, and let buyers pick exactly where they sit — with the seat carried onto every ticket, wallet pass and scan. Reserved seating is available on Pro and above.

What you get

From a supper club to a stadium

Reserved seating is built into frequentix, not bolted on. Draw your venue as sections, rows and tables, map seats to your ticket types for pricing, then publish — the same oversell-proof inventory that protects general admission now protects every single seat.

Reusable venue seat maps

Lay out your venue in sections, rows and tables — stalls, circle, boxes, banquet rounds — and save it as a reusable map you drop onto any event, so you never draw the same room twice.

Per-seat pricing with categories

Group seats into categories — front stalls, side, restricted view — and map each to a ticket type, so a seat’s price, tax and scan rules come straight from the ticket it sells.

Buyers choose their own seats

A live seating chart lets buyers see what’s free and pick exactly where they sit, held for them by the same never-oversold inventory as everything else.

Seats on every ticket

Each seat label — “Stalls · Row A · Seat 4” — flows onto the ticket, the Apple & Google wallet pass and the scanner verdict, so the door can send everyone straight to their spot.

Blocks, holds & reseating

Block seats out for production, wheelchair spaces or the house, hold rows back and release them when you’re ready, and move an attendee to a different seat — their ticket, pass and confirmation update to match.

A live seating chart

Watch the room fill in real time — sold, held and available at a glance — so you always know exactly what’s left and where, right up to doors.

For organisers

Draw your venue once

Build sections, rows and tables on a visual canvas, colour seats by category, and see the live seat count as you go. Save the map and reuse it for every show in that room.

For buyers

Let buyers choose their spot

On your hosted storefront, buyers open the seating chart, tap the seats they want and see the running total update — each seat held just for them while they check out.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which plans include reserved seating?

Reserved seating is available on Pro and Enterprise. Pro covers up to 500 seats per event; Enterprise takes it up to 10,000, and higher on request.

Do I have to rebuild the seat map for every event?

No. A seat map belongs to your venue, not a single event — design it once and reuse it for every show in that room, adjusting the pricing categories per event whenever you like.

Does the seat show up at the door?

Yes. Each seat’s label — like “Stalls · Row A · Seat 4” — is carried onto the ticket, the wallet pass and the scanner verdict, so your door team can send every attendee straight to their seat.
